Bequests
If you are interested in bequeathing property to the temple, please contact the temple , and ensure that the named beneficiary is International Buddhism Friendship Association (our legal name). It is important that you speak with your attorney and or financial adviser prior to naming the Trust as a beneficiary, either in your Last Will and Testament or in a non-probate instrument like a designated beneficiary form. Past experience has shown that creating properly-structured legal documents makes the probate process much smoother. Please feel free to have your attorney and/or advisers contact us for guidance regarding your specific situation.
Donation in Kind
Please contact the temple and send a clear written description of the item(s) to be donated. It is very helpful to including the condition (new/used/good/poor), year purchased, model number (if any), and approximate value if known. This will help us to evaluate whether your donation can be used in any way for the benefit of the center and students.
