Morning: Blessing Chanting
On the morning of July 26, Venerables will lead the assembly in a traditional chanting ceremony
honoring the sacred relics. Rooted in more than two millennia of Buddhist practice, the chanting
of sutras and devotional texts in the presence of relics is understood to generate profound merit
for the participants, for their families, and for all sentient beings.
This is an opportunity to sit in stillness, to open your heart, and to receive the blessings of the
Buddha and his great disciples, whose relics dwell with us in this sacred moment.

Afternoon: Dharma Sharing and Exchange Assembly
The afternoon session brings together monastics, scholars, and practitioners for a joyous
sharing and exchange of the Dharma. This assembly is a living expression of the Buddhist
tradition of “one lamp lighting another” — the passing of wisdom from teacher to student,
generation to generation, without end.
