The Venerable Bhikkhu Bodhi
.jpg)
The Venerable Bhikkhu Bodhi is a Brooklyn-born Theravada monk who is internationally renowned for his work translating the Samyutta Nikaya, the Majjhima Nikaya, and the Anguttar Nikaya, as well as for various anthologies of suttas, in addition to his humanitarian efforts. Bhikkhu Bodhi's impact on bringing the true foundations of Buddhism with scholarly rigor, renunciate lucidity, and Buddhist compassion to the English-speaking world is difficult to overstate. We are honored that he will be here in Chicago to give a keynote speech and venerate the relics with us.
