Cause and Effect –

 

When this is, that is (Imasmim sati idam hoti);

This arising, that arises (Imassuppada idam uppajjati);

When this is not that is not (Imasmim asati idam na hoti);

This ceasing, that ceases (Imassa nirodha idam nirujjhati).
